Overview

Teachfloor lets you decide exactly which user roles can access the Library.
This includes Learners, Assistants, Instructors, Admins, and Owners.

If you want to hide the Library from learners, assistants, or even instructors, you can do it from the customization settings with one click.

How to Hide the Library for a Role

  1. Go to Settings β†’ Customization β†’ Appearance.

  2. Scroll to the Library section.

  3. Disable the Library for the roles you want to hide it from:

    • Learner

    • Assistant

    • Instructor

    • Administrator

    • Owner

  4. Click Save.

What Happens When You Disable a Role

When a role is disabled:

  • Users in that role will not see the Library in the main navigation.

  • They will not see the Library tab inside courses.

  • The Course Library will remain visible only to roles that still have access enabled.

  • Files remain available in the system but hidden from those roles.
