Once you have installed an app, you manage it from one place: your Settings. From there you can configure each app, update it when a new version is available, and remove it whenever you like. This guide shows you how.
You need admin or owner permissions to manage apps.
Find your installed apps
Step #1 Open Settings. In your Teachfloor dashboard, go to Settings.
Step #2 Open the Apps section. Select Apps from the settings menu. Here you will find every app installed on your academy, all in one list.
Set up and configure an app
Most apps have their own settings, and some need a quick setup before they work. This is where you do it.
Step #3 Open an app. Click an app in the list to open its settings.
Step #4 Configure it. Set the app up to fit your academy. Depending on the app this might mean connecting an external account, adding an API key, choosing options, or turning features on and off. Each app has its own settings screen.
Step #5 Save. Save your changes and the app is ready to use with your configuration.
Tip: if an app does not seem to work right after installing, check its settings here first. Some apps need to be set up before they can do their job.
Update an app
When a developer releases a new version, you can update the app from the same list.
Step #6 Update. Open the app in Settings > Apps and, if an update is available, click Update to move to the latest version.
Uninstall an app
Step #7 Remove it. Open the app in Settings > Apps and choose Uninstall. This removes the app from your academy and revokes the access it was granted.
That is everything you need to keep your apps set up, up to date, and tidy. To add a new one, see How to install an app.
