This guide shows you exactly what learners see and do on the platform. Follow the steps below and you'll be all set!

✅ Step 1: How Learners Join
First, your instructor will invite you to join a course.
There are 2 ways learners get started:
If... | What Happens |
You’re not using SSO | You get an email → Click → Sign up page |
You’re using SSO | You get enrolled directly via ID |

🖥️ Step 2: Learner Dashboard
Once logged in, you’ll see a clean, simple dashboard — no settings, no distractions.
You’ll see 3 tabs:
My Courses – Courses you already joined
Available Courses – Public courses you can join
Invitations – Private course invites waiting for you

📘 Step 3: Inside a Course
Click any course to open it. You’ll now see 3 main pages:
1. Course Overview
Learn what the course is about
See a list of all modules

2. Curriculum
Click on a module to begin
After finishing each activity, click "Mark as Complete"

3. Progress
See how far you’ve gone
Check your quiz scores and completion %

💬 Step 4: Using the Community
Click the Community tab in your course.
You can:
Ask questions
Reply to classmates
Send private messages to instructors or assistants

⚙️ Step 5: Account Settings
To open settings:
Click your name or picture at the top-right
Select "Account Settings"

Now, when you click on account settings, you'll find a series of settings that you can personalize, including the light and dark theme of the platform
1. Account details
In this section, learner has following settings;
Avatar - Learner can upload an image
Frist name - Learner can insert/change his frist name
Laster name - Learner can insert/change his last name
Change email address - Learner can change his email address,

2. Password
You can reset your password anytime by entering your current one and creating a new one.

3. Social links
Optionally, you can add links to your Facebook, Instagram, or X (Twitter) profiles.

4. Localization
Set your local timezone. This helps ensure your course deadlines and notifications appear correctly.

5. Zoom Account
If your course uses Zoom for live sessions, click Connect Zoom, log in securely, and link your Zoom account.

6. Export Data
If you want to download your personal data from Teachfloor:
Go to Account Settings
Scroll to the Export Data section
Click the Download button
All your data will be exported in a single file.

7. Delete Account
You can delete your account permanently at any time.
Just go to the bottom of Account Settings and click the red Delete Account button. Once you confirm, your account and all data will be erased.
